Luca our Colour Assistant at Salon Sloane trained within the Vidal Sassoon academy, he’s also one of the most pleasant people you could imagine being around. We love having him at the Salon so we pulled him away for a quick chat about what makes him tick.
SS: How did you get into coloring hair?
I saw a colourist create an amazing fashion colour when I was 18 and said to myself 'I need to learn how to do that!!
SS: Where did you get your start?
Studying In the Sassoon academy on Brook Street and assisting in a local salon on Kensington High Street.
SS: What inspires you?
Most of my creative ideas come when I'm walking around London listening to my iPod, just drifting and dreaming. I adore art too.
SS: What are some of your biggest achievements so far?
I've been lucky enough to assist Guido and his team on a Givenchy show in Paris. I've helped assist hair colouring on a Mert and Marcus shoot for Italian Vogue, and I also met Tom Ford while assisting on a shoot. He is my idol.
SS: What do you find coolest/ most interesting in color at the moment?
At the moment I think it's really cool that people are getting experimental with their hair colour. The fashion of hair is evolving as a whole, because of it.
SS: Favourite celebrity hair?
SS: What’s the best tip you have for our readers?
Keep close to foods with Zinc, Iron and Vitamin D. They are key for Healthy hair.
